Dispute over right of way leads to death

Beltangady: A dispute over the right of way between a man and a father-son duo lead to the man’s death.
On Sunday, February 9 at about 11 am, Umesh, a resident of Layila village, Beltangady had a quarrel with Yogesh (51) and his son Jeevan over the right of way leading to their house. In the heat of the dispute, Umesh was stabbed with a knife.
Injured Umesh was first admitted to SDM Hospital, Ujire and then taken to Father Muller Hospital, Mangaluru.
However, Umesh could not be saved and died at Father Muller Hospital on the morning of Monday, February 10.
The accused duo have been taken into custody by the police.
