Bantwal: Fire breaks out at grocery store, goods worth lakhs gutted

Bantwal: A fire broke out at a grocery store in Veerakambha at around 9.30 pm on Wednesday, February 12,

Reportedly, the grocery store that belonged to Veerakambha Hameed got partly destroyed due to the fire and lakhs of rupees worth goods got completely destroyed due to accidental fire.

Two fire service trucks of Bantwal fire service station brought the fire under control and the locals also helped in containing the fire by spraying water through tankers. It is suspected that the fire erupted due to a short circuit.

A case in this regard has been registered with Vittal police.
