Mangaluru: MLA UT Khadar on Thursday, February 13 said that the Central government need to address the issue of reservations seriously and file a review petition for the supreme court judgement on promotion and appointment based on the reservation to SC and ST category.
Speaking to the reporters, he alleged, “The cabinet members and MPs speak against the constitution when Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks about Dr BR Ambedkar and constitution. BJP has to take strict actions to agaist them.”
“The government is not speaking about development and prior to Delhi elections, they only spoke about Article 370, Ram Mandir, NRC and CAA,” he said.
Responding to attempt-to-rape madrasa student case, he said, “Police and District administration need to take strict action against the culprits irrespective of their religion or caste. I am ready to pay 25 Lakh to the police to increase security in the constituency.”
“We have to appreciate the bravery shown by the girl who bit the hand of the culprit and fled to inform the teacher. The localities in the region have to come forward to act on this regard,” he added.
