Nettana hit and run case: Car involved in accident found

Puttur: Police have found the white Innova car that had allegedly knocked down a woman at Nettana village near Bilinele on September 9, 2019.

The car belonging to Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Kumar Puttila, was siezed after details of the car were found matching those in CCTV footages with them.

Sumathi (48) was hit by the car on September 9, 2019 who later died of the severe injuries.

Police have already arrested the driver of the car and are continuing the investigation.
