Byndoor: A man fell into a 15-feet deep hole after the land around the borewell that was being dug collapsed suddenly on Sunday, February 16.
The man who fell in the hole has been identified as Rohit, son of Subba Kharvi, a resident of Uppunda Fisheries Janata Colony.
Reportedly, the incident took place when borewell was being dug at Maravanthe in order to use it with a handpump.
Rohit, who had come there to watch the operation slid down to a depth of 15 feet into the borewell after the land around the borewell collapsed suddenly.
Following the incident, fire service personnel have rushed to the spot and rescue operation is underway.
