Woman’s throat slit, valuables robbed from home in Kadur

Chikmagalur: In a brutal incident, unidentified miscreants murdered a woman by slitting her throat and valuable items from her residence in Kadur taluk.

The deceased woman is identified as Kavita (31).

Reportedly, Kavita (31), was found with her throat slit at her house and the house ransacked. Valuable items in the cupboard were stolen.

Kavita’s husband, a dentist at Birur had spoken with her at 6:45 pm and was found dead at 8:15 pm on Monday, February 17.

Kodur police arrived at the house and sent the dead body to Shimoga for post mortem and collected nearby CCTV footages for investigation. Dog squad and forensic analysts also visited the house to search and collect evidence.
