Veteran actress Kishori Ballal passes away

Bengaluru: Veteran actress Kishori Ballal passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday. She was suffering from age-related illness.

Kishori, who hailed from Managaluru made her Sandalwood debut with the movie Evalentha Hendthi in the year 1960. She had acted as Shah Rukh khan mother in the Bollywood movie Swades.

In her career spanning over five decades, Kishori Ballal who started her career as a Bharatanatyam danseuse had acted in many Kannada movie like Kahi, Hani Hani, Suryakanthi and many other movies.
