Bengaluru/Mangaluru: A hotelier from coastal Karnataka, Lokesh Shetty, has announced to produce a movie depicting the life of now internationally-known star Kambala jockey Srinivas Gowda.

He has already registered a movie title by the name ‘Kambala’ with the Karnataka Film Chamber Of Commerce.

The movie will be directed by Nikhil Manju whose last release was the Raghavendra Rajkumar-starrer Ammana Mane (2019).

Srinivas Gowda has been basking in the glory since he set the record on the Kambala track with celebrities and VVIPs praising his achievement.

Gowda completed his 142.4m sprint in 13.63 seconds. Bolt holds the world record of completing 100m in 9.58 seconds. Calculating Bolt’s runtime with that of Gowda means that Gowda could do 100m in only 9.55 seconds.
