Alert bus staff rush ‘sick’ passenger to hospital

Mangaluru: A passenger who fell unconscious in a moving bus was immediately rushed to a hospital by conductor and driver of the city bus.

The incident took place on Thursday, March 12 afternoon onboard the 13B bus, headed towards State Bank from Kunjathbail.

It is gathered that a youth, who was feeling unwell fell unconscious in the moving bus.

Conductor Vishnu and driver Dayanand took a quick decision to rush the youth to a hospital so he gets medical attention and hence drove the bus non-stop till Kavoor junction.

From here, Vishnu took the youth to a private hospital in an auto-rickshaw and on the way also informed his family members of the situation over the mobile.

The duo has been appreciated for their humanitarian gesture.
