Bengaluru: State health minister B Sriramulu said that his Twitter account had been hacked after a fake post on coronavirus went viral on social media.
In a complaint filed with Bengaluru police commissioner, Sriramulu alleged that this was a deliberate attempt to defame him and demanded strict action against the miscreant.
Sriramulu while tweeting a copy of his complaint said that tweet suggesting smearing cow dung on the body and drinking of cow urine to prevent COVID-19 had not been posted by him.
The cybercrime police have taken up the case.
