Udupi: Man returns from Japan, shows COVID-19 symptoms

Udupi: A young man who had recently returned from Japan and showing symptoms of COVID-19 was admitted to the isolation ward at the district hospital here on Friday, March 13.
The man works on a ship and is employed in Japan. After returning to his hometown Shirva a few days he fell sick.
The man’s samples have been sent to Bengaluru for testing and the results are awaited.
Also, three students from Manipal were admitted to KMC hospital after they showed symptoms of COVID-19. The students had recently visited Malaysia.
