Wife of B’luru Google techie tests positive for COVID-19

Bengaluru: The wife of 26-year-old Google employee in Bengaluru, who has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been tested positive for COVID-19.
Reportedly the couple had returned to Bengaluru from Greece a few days back, while the techie reported working his wife went to her parental house in Agra.
Google has confirmed that one of its 26-year-old employee working at its Bengaluru office had tested positive.
“We can confirm that an employee from our Bengaluru office has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The employee, who had returned from Greece was in one of our Bengaluru offices for a few hours before developing any symptoms,” a Google spokesperson said.
On Friday Google asked staff in that office to work from work as a precautionary measure.
