Kasturba hosp OPD to be shut from Mar 23

Manipal: Kasturba Hospital here will shut its out-patient department (OPD) from March 23 as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19.

Emergency and trauma care services will be operational.

Patients arriving at the hospital will be first screened at the screening counters set up outside the hospital and then directed to respective doctors for further emergency treatment.

Restrictions have also been placed on entry to intensive care units (ICUs).
