Kalaburagi: People visit temples despite lockdown, offer prayers at gate

Kalaburagi: Even the state government has imposed a statewide lockdown till March 31, a few people were seen visiting temples in the district even though religious places are shut down.
Many people were seen offering prayers at the temple gate of the famous Sharanabasaveshwara temple as the temple was shut down due to the government’s orders.
Meanwhile, the Trust of Chandrlambha temple of Chitrapura taluk has issued a notice asking people not to visit the temple till March 31. They also requested the people to stay back at home along with their family.
