DK: 2771 residents in home quarantine

Mangaluru: In an official announcement made on Wednesday, March 25, Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh has stated few details related to COVID-19 in the district.

About 2771 people in the districts are home quarantined and 20 have already completed the mandated 28 days of quarantine.

More than 38,000 people from the district have been screened and 7 are admitted and are under observation.

Additionally, 27 are quarantined at ESI Hospital and none are quarantined at Wenlock district hospital.

The announcement further reads that ASHA workers have visited 2,75,767 houses and spread awareness about the virus with 11,21,244 residents in those houses. They’ve also advised foreign arrivals to stay at home.
