Now, BJP has initiated an effort to link community kitchens across the country, which can serve a minimum of 1,000 people every day during the lockdown. COVID-19 relief package has also been announced by the Narendra Modi government.

PM Modi declared complete lockdown in the country on Wednesday and urged people to adopt atleast nine poor families and help them provide food and shelter.

Nearly, one crore party workers will be engaged in feeding 5 crore people and they will be coordinating with MLA and MPs of their respective state units.

The party has launched a social media campaign #LetsFeedThePoor in order to get more participation of people and organization and the party has floated an online form seeking details of people running community kitchens. BJP President, JP Nadda will personally monitor the campaign.

JP Nadda said “On behalf of every BJP worker, I thank the prime minister for this relief to the poor, farmers, women, youths, senior citizens and the organised sector for such important decisions and this relief package.”
