Hassan: A video of district Hassan Superintendent of Police R. Srinivasa Gowda telling morning walkers in the city that if they come out of their house despite lockdown the police department officials will stay back at home has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Srinivas is requesting the people who had come out for morning walk to maintain social distance and stay at home, if not the situation will get worse.
“We (police officers) are working day and night, despite risking our life just to keep you safe, but it looks like you guys are not bothered about your own safety. If you want to come out we will stay back at home with our family,” he said.
He further added, “You need not come out to maintain physical fitness, you can stay at home and practice yoga or indoor workouts which are easily available on the mobile phones.”
However, the people have agreed to follow the instructions given by the police.
