Senior gynaecologist Dr RS Mahale no more

Mangaluru: Senior gynaecologist and obstetrician Dr RS Mahale passed away due to age-related illness at her residence on Monday, March 30. He was 87.
An alumnus of Kasturba Medical College, Dr Mahale later served as a faculty member at the College and was very popular among her students.
He is survived by her son and a daughter.
Dr Mahale’s demise has been condoled by Chancellor of Manipal University Dr Ramdas Pai, Mrs Vasanthi R Pai, Pro Chancellor of MAHE Dr HS Ballal and Dean Dr Y Venkataraya Prabhu and the student body.
