Covid-19: Things you should avoid touching to keep the virus at bay

According to a recent study, the coronavirus can survive on some surfaces, like door handles, for an average of four to five days. Like all droplet infections, Covid-19 can spread via hands and frequently touched surfaces.

Here is a list of things you should avoid touching

Elevator buttons

As many other building residents use the same buttons, there are chances of infection by touching these buttons, it is better to use your knuckle or elbow.

Toilet handles

If you’re using a public restroom, avoid touching the toilet handle. This handle may have been exposed to the virus by many people who used the facilities before you.

Mails, packages

It is better to use gloves while receiving mails or packages and then sanitize them. Then remove the packaging and wash your hands immediately.

Faucet Handles

Be aware that the sink faucet handles may contain germs and COVID-19 if an infected person used them before you.

ATM buttons

People operating ATMs may already have germs on their hands, then touch their bacteria ridden money, then touch the ATM buttons again. If you’re getting cash, be sure to wash and sanitize when you’ve completed your transaction.

Mobile phone

Your phone too could be spreading COVID-19. Keep it clean by using Disinfecting Wipes.
