Covid-19: Taj hotels in Mumbai open doors for BMC staff
Team Udayavani, Apr 4, 2020, 11:06 AM IST
After providing Special food packets for Mumbai doctors working long shifts, Ratan Tata has opened their rooms of Taj Hotels group properties to accommodate Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) doctors working on COVID-19 in Mumbai.
The rooms will be available across seven hotels, Taj Mahal Palace, Taj Lands End, Taj Santacruz, The President, Ginger MIDC Andheri, Ginger Madgaon and Ginger Noida City Center.
This initiative will help many doctors and nurses in BMC who stay far away from the city and commute by public transport. This gesture of accommodating them in the hotels will cut their travel time and help them get adequate rest.
