Ballari: A 45-year-old man from the district has tested positive for novel coronavirus, said district health officials. With this the number of covid 19 cases in Ballari has gone upto 5.
On March 30, three members of a family from Hospete tested positive for coronavirus whereafter 10 primary contacts, including their relatives were placed under observation. The 45-year-old, who happens to be their relative has been isolated and is being treated at VIMS.
Meanwhile test results of other nine persons came negative for the virus.
On Thursday. a child from Siraguppa tested covid 19 positive.
