More stringent lockdown; ration even for those w/t card: Yediyurappa

Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has said that to further contain the spread of COVID-19, stricter enforcement of lockdown will be started.

Speaking to reporters, he stated that there are 128 COVID-19 positive cases in the state and 4 have died due to the virus, adding that only those that are infected are on ventilators.

He further stated that 480 HOPCOMS centres across the state are buying agriculture produce from farmers reducing their distress and ration from ration shops will be distributed to all even to those without ration cards.

The CM also added that a task force related to COVID-19, lead by the State’s chief secretary, has been constituted.
