Bantwal: Madaka Bolladi area quarantined after youth tests positive for Covid 19

Bantwal: A youth hailing from Thumbe village in Bantwal Taluk has tested positive for coronavirus infection.

The youth it is gathered had visited Delhi for some personal work and arrived in Mangaluru via a train on March 21.

During examination of people from the taluk who had participated in the Nizammudin Markaaz event, this youth too was subjected to an examination. His samples tested positive for the virus.

The youth is a resident of Madaka Bolladi area which has around 500 houses. Bantwal Tahsildar and SI arrived at the spot. Presently the area has been quarantined and police officials warned village residents not to step out of their houses.
