K’taka Covid 19 cases rises to 144, including 3 new cases in DK

Mangaluru/Bengaluru: As per the latest update from Karnataka Health Deprtment 16 persons tested positive for coronavirus between 5 pm on April 3 to 5 pm on April 4 taking the total number of infected persons to 144 in the state. This includes 4 deaths and 11 discharges.

Out of the 16 fresh cases, three cases are from Dakshina Kannada.

A 43- year-old and 52-year-old from Dakshina Kannada who participated in Tabhligi Jamaat event in New Delhi tested positive for coronavirus today. They are placed in isolation ward at Yenepoya hospital while the other patient a 63-year-old female from Udupi with a travel history to Dubai is in isolation facility at ESI hospital
