Bantwal: Day after a Bantwal youth tested positive for Covid 19, Congress leader UT Khader on Sunday, April 5 urged people to fully cooperate with health workers when they visit to enquire on their health status.
Associated Social Health Activist (ASHA) worker will be visiting each home and enquire on the health status of individuals, said Khader while asking people to provide the information without abusing the health workers.
Bantwal Tahsildar and SI have quarantined 500 houses in the vicinity of the infected person’s residence to contain covid 19 spread. Daily essentials will be supplied to their doorsteps, Khader informed.
Further he urged those who visited the house of the infected to voluntarily report themselves to health department. He also emphasised the villagers on need to maintain social distancing.
