COVID-19: 25 health experts from Thiruvananthapuram reach Kasaragod

Kasaragod: District health officers and police on Monday welcomed the team of health experts who came from Thiruvananthapuram.
With the number of positive cases increasing in the district, a team of 25 experts comprising 10 doctors, 10 nurses and five paramedical staff from Thiruvananthapuram medical college reached Ukkinadka medical college to help the healthcare professionals there. These experts were welcomed by the police, health officials and Panchayath members.
Earlier, speaking with this regard Health minister KK Shailaja said the expert team comprising 10 doctors, 10 nurses, and five paramedical staff would be stationed at Kasaragod medical college hospital which has been fully converted into a COVID-only hospital. The team headed by Dr. Santosh Kumar, deputy superintendent of a medical college hospital, will be stationed in Kasaragod for two weeks.
