World Health day is celebrated on April 7 every year to spread the awareness around maintaining good health and a balanced lifestyle.
World Health Day campaign was started in 1950 with the motive of promoting awareness about physical and mental health and offer the necessary support.
This year’s theme is “Year of the Nurse and Midwife” to honour the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale.
Also, during the pandemic, the nurses and other health workers are working hard to provide necessary care and treatment.
WHO is honouring the contribution of such nurses and midwives who are working day and night to make the world a healthier place.
