As the tally of COVID-19 cases sours across the globe, people have been asked to stay indoor and maintain social distancing to prevent the health pandemic from spreading.

One of the world’s top messaging app, WhatsApp has made it easier to start a group call for groups of four of less on Tuesday, April 7.

WhatsApp shared this update on Twitter and wrote, “We’ve made it easier than ever to start a group call from WhatsApp for groups of 4 or less. From your group chat tap the video or voice call icon to directly start a call with everyone in the chat!”

This comes weeks after Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg said that the volume of calls on WhatsApp are double than their normal volume owing to lockdown in many countries.
