Possibility of ending lockdown on April 14 looks unlikely: Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday Apri 8 hinted that the lockdown might not end on April 14 amid rising number of coronavirus cases in the country.

At an interactive meet held by Modi with floor leaders of various parties, including opposition, in Parliament to discuss the situation arising out of the spread of coronavirus Modi stated that the possibility of ending the lockdown on April 14 looked unlikely.

Modi said that a decision will be taken after discussing the situation with state chief ministers.

“Life will not be the same again after COVID-19. Massive behavioural, social and personal changes will have to take place,” PM Modi reportedly told political leaders in the video conference.
