Akshay says “dil se thank you” to all essential service providers amid lockdown

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar praised all the warriors working hard to ensure the citizens are safe and requested everyone to say “Thank you” to them on Thursday, April 9.
Akshay took to Twitter and shared a video and said that there are many medical staff, security force and people who are supplying essentials. we should at least show gratitude to their sacrifice amid COVID-19 lockdown.
He urged everyone to post their name, respective city and use “#DilSeThankYou” on social media.

He then uploaded an image holding a paper with “#DilSeThankYou” written on it.
He wrote his name, city Mumbai and quoted, “Me and my family say thank you to police, workers of Nagar Nigam, doctors, nurses, NGOs, volunteers, government, officials and security guards of building.”

The hashtag “#DilSeThankYou” already used over 7k times within an hour of its initial post.
People across India have been responding to Akshay’s initiative and saying “Thank You” to all COVID-19 warriors.
