Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president DK Shivakumar on Monday, April 13 demanded Minister for Medical Education Sudhakar’s resignation citing that the latter is behaving irresponsibly during this time of crisis.
Shivakumar’s comment came after Sudhakar on Sunday, April 12 shared a picture of him and his children in a swimming pool, on Twitter with a caption, “After a long time joined my children for swimming hope maintaining social distance here as well…hahaha.”
However, Sudhakar deleted the tweet from his account soon after he was criticized for sharing such a picture when the country is facing a health crisis.
Meanwhile, Shivakumar shared a screengrab of Sudhakar’s tweet with a caption, “When the whole world is going through a health crisis, the Corona in-charge Minister Dr. Sudhakar is behaving irresponsibly by spending time in a swimming pool. It’s a matter of moral & ethical standards. He must resign out of his own accord & CM should sack him from the cabinet.”
