Kundapura: Covid-19 campaign has created awareness in the several areas in Karnataka to such an extent that people are banning the entry of outsiders.

The residents of Maravanthe have blocked the road of Karavali ward that connects the Outer Bunder with highway using a temporary barrier.

As the route is linked to Bundar and sees many outsiders throughout the day, residents have come up with a decision to ban outsiders from entering the ward.

There is also a board put up in the premises which reads, “Keeping the interests of the residents in mind, no outsider except local fishermen are allowed to enter the ward.”
