Mangaluru: Case registered against SDPI for illegally spraying chemicals

Mangaluru: Authorities of Sajipamooda gram panchayat in Bantwal taluk have registered a complaint against members of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) for spraying chemicals in the village without permission.
Police have booked Yousuf Haladi, Saleem Haladi, Malik Kalayi and others for the act.
SDPI’s Dakshina Kannada dirtrict unit cheif Iqbal I M R stated that the case is politically motivated as their members were spraying phenyl on the roads and outer wall of houses to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
