Hate post on social media: Compol holds meeting with Muslim leaders

Mangaluru: City Commissioner of Police Harsha on Saturday, April held a meeting with the leaders of the Muslim community and aked their support to punish the people who share communal hatred.
“Had a detailed meeting with all respected leaders of Muslim community ..I raised the issue of few miscreants resorting to mischief on social media against various functionaries of government and sought their support.ALL condemned such heinous acts and assured full support for firm action,” Harsha tweeted.

During the lockdown period, many posts are being shared on social media platforms intending to disturb communal harmony. The police have also arrested a few persons with this regard.
