Last rites of Bantwal woman who died of COVID-19 performed as per medical protocol

Mangaluru: Final rites of the 50-year-old woman ho died of COVID-19 were performed at local crematorium as per medical protocol prescribed for COVID-19 positive patients.
Family members of the deceased were allowed to see her body for two minutes from a distance before it was cremated, informed sources.
Dakshina Kannada district on Sunday recorded its first death due to Covid-19 with a 50-year-old woman from Kasba in Bantwal taluk succumbing to it.
