Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa requested all the media persons to go for health screening and take care of health amid the COVID-19 outbreak on Tuesday, April 21.
His request comes after 53 media persons tested positive out of 171 tests in Maharashtra on Monday, April 20.
The Cheif Minister took to Twitter and wrote, “Dear Mediapersons, In the fight against COVID-19, all of you are fearlessly working 24/7 like police and medical workers to keep citizens and government on the latest updates.”
“When you are in a hurry to keep us updated, do take necessary measures to prevent COVID-19 infection. Please go for medical screening and take care of your health,” he added.
B.S. Yediyurappa (@BSYBJP) April 21, 2020
