Four held for transporting liquor in ambulance

Chitradurga: Chitrahalli police arrested four persons on Tuesday, April 21 for allegedly transporting liquor in an 108 ambulance amid the lockdown
Ambulance driver Suhan; technician Santosh; Girish and Jeevan both residents of Sivaganga village are the arrested persons. The police seized 14 liquor boxes from their possession.
They were held when Girish and Jeevan were shifting the liquor boxes from the ambulance to an Omni vehicle. The ambulance reportedly belonged to HD Pura health centre located in Hoollakere Taluk.
A case has been registered in this regard.
