Let’s support auto drivers, private bus transport after dist becomes Covid free: Vedavyas Kamath

Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath requested that people of the district to support auto-rickshaw drivers and private bus transport workers after Corona crisis is completely over.
Auto-rickshaw drivers, Private Bus transport workers are forced to give up their source of income and sit idle at home are facing problems due to lockdown, therefore Vedavyas has assured them that the citizen of the district will help them when things get back to normal.
Taking to Twitter, Vedavyas wrote, “Once CORONA Crisis is completely over, Let us support Auto Drivers, Private Bus transport etc. They need us a lot. Let us commute only on Public Vehicles and support them max. It will help them and will make Mangalore pollution-free too. Let us help them.”

The lockdown, which was originally scheduled to continue till April 14, has been extended to May 3 keeping the rising number of COVID-19 cases in mind.
