K’taka COVID-19: MIL of Bantwal casualty, 15 others test positive; toll rises to 443

Bengaluru/Mangaluru: Mother in law of the Bantwal woman who died of COVID-19 recently and 15 other people in the state tested positive for Coronavirus in the state on Thursday, April 23.

The Karnataka health department in its mid-day health bulletin released the number of infected people and their respective districts.

Out of Sixteen cases, one is from Dakshina Kannada, two each fro Hibballai, Vijayapura and Mandya. Nine new cases were reported from Bengaluru Urban.

The infected persons are undergoing treatment at the designated hospital.

Till date 443 positive cases have been confirmed in the state, including 17 deaths and 141 discharges.
