MHRD launches Vidyadaan 2.0 for e-learning, invites contributions
Amid the nationwide lockdown, most of the institutions are switching to online classes. Now, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has launched a programme, called Vidya Daan 2.0. for collecting e-learning resources. Any individual or even schools, institutions, DIET, organizations, and NGOs that have good quality e-learning resources can contribute to the VidyaDaan program
VidyaDaan 2.0 programme aims to bring academicians and organisations together to develop fun and engaging e-learning content for the students.
How to contribute content?
VidyaDaan has a content contribution tool that provides a structured interface for the contributors to register and contribute different types of content such as, explanation videos, presentations, competency-based items, quizzes etc., for any grade from grade 1 to 12, for any subject as specified by the states/UTs.
Those who wish to contribute can submit their information in the form of explanatory videos, animations, teaching videos, lesson plans, assessments and question banks in the prescribed format.
The content will be used for access by students across the country on MHRD’s Diksha website, which was launched in 2017. Diksha has over 80,000 e-books for Classes 1-12 prepared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
