COVID-19: 15 new cases including 1 from Bantwala reported in K’taka; toll rises to 489

Bengaluru: Fifteen new cases of COVID-19, including one from Dakshina Kannada’s Bantwala taluk was reported in Karnataka on Saturday, April 25, with this the total number of Coronavirus cases have reached a mark of 489.

Out of 15 cases one each case was reported from Dakshina Kannada, Mandya, and Chikkaballapura. Six each case was reported from Bengaluru and Belagavi, reported Karnataka health department’s Mid-day bulletin.

It is gathered that the Bantwala woman who was tested positive today is the daughter of a 67-year-old patient who was tested positive recently.

Till date 489 cases have been reported in the state including 153 discharges and 18 deaths.
