Kanakamajalu Gram Panchayat selected for national award

Sullia: Kanakamajalu Gram Panchayat from the State has become the sole entrant in the 2020 “Nanaji Deshmukh Rashtirya Gaurav Gramsabha Puraskar” category of the Centre’s ‘Deendayal Panchayat Shashaktikaran Puraskar’.

The Gram Panchayat (GP) was inspected on February 13 and was shortlisted as one of the three GPs from the State for the final selection.

Kanakamajalu Gram Panchayat has already received several awards, including the Gandhi Gram Puraskar, Namma Grama Namma Yojane Puraskar, and Swachatha Puraskar.
