Mangaluru: COVID-19 stats as of April 25

Mangaluru: One new COVID-19 positive case was reported in Dakshina Kannada on Saturday, April 25.
The 33-year-old from Bantwal had come in contact with the COVID-19 patient who had died earlier this week.
She is now being treated at the Wenlock district hospital here.
On Apri 25, 211 samples were sent for testing and 90 test reports were received of which 89 were negative and 1 positive for COVID-19 (mentioned earlier).
Additionally, 16 SARI (Severe Acute Respiratory Infection) cases were reported today.
Till April 25, the district recorded two deaths because of COVID-19, both from Bantwal.
