COVID-19: 8 new cases including 2 from M’luru reported in K’taka; toll rises to 511

Bengaluru: Eight new cases of COVID-19 including two from Dakshina Kannada’s Kulshekar was reported on Monday, April 27. The total number of cases reached the mark of 511.

As per the Karnataka Health department’s Mid-day health bulletin, out of eight cases, two cases each were reported in Dakshina Kannada, Vijayapura, and Bagalkote and on each case in Bangaluru and Mandya.

Mother and son who were under quarantine in Mangaluru’s Kulshekar were tested positive today. They contacted the infection fro patient number 432, informed sources.

The duo is currently undergoing treatment at the designated hospital in Dakshina Kannada.

Till date 511 cases have been reported in the state including 188 discharges and 19 deaths.
