Udupi: A blood donation camp has been organised in the district hospital at Ajjarakadu here on April 29 from 9 am to 1 pm.
The camp is being jointly organised by district hospital’s blood bank, Udupi State Government Employees Union, Udupi NPS employees Union, Udupi Journalists Union and Gangolli Karavali Sangha.
Since the beginning of the nationwide lockdown, blood banks across the country have been facing shortages. Many privately organised donation camps in the district had to be cancelled for the same reason.
