CM to decide on liquor sales in state: R Ashok

Bengaluru: The decision to open liquor stores or not is left to the Chief Minister stated State Revenue Minister R Ashok.
Speaking to reporters here, he further stated that ths issue of resuming sale of liquor was not discussed in today’s cabinet meeting.
A decision in this regard will be taken by Chief Minister after May 4, he added.
The Excise Department has pegged its daily loss at Rs 50 crore as liquor shops remain shut owing to the lockdown.
