Mumbai’s first Covid-19 testing bus launched

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has launched Mumbai’s first mobile Covid-19 testing bus that will be used for mass screening of people. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, and Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai Praveen Pardeshi inaugurated the bus via video conferencing.
The ‘CovidBus’ is designed for mass screening by using a combination of fever, O2 saturation & AI-based Xrays’s for detecting coronavirus. Also, the bus is equipped with RT-PCR swab collection facility.
The Covid-19 testing bus has been made with the help of Krsnaa diagnostic and IIT Alumni council and Radiology department experts and doctors will be able to trace the Covid-19 patients with the help of Cloud Transform. The bus will be visiting various slum locations and effectively isolate the high risk suspects.
