Bengaluru: Police open fire on murder accused

Bengaluru: The police opened the fire at an accused after he tried to escape near Lidkar Colony in KG Halli on Monday, May 4.
As per sources, the incident took place when the police were about to arrest Sanjay alias Andrews, accused in the murder of Buji alias Bujju (30).
When the police were about to arrest him, he threw chilly powder on the police and tried to flee from them.
Police Inspector fired a shot on the air warning Sanjay to surrender. However, Sanjay tried to flee from the spot. The police then shot him on the leg and arrested him immediately.
