Mangaluru: DC denotifies Sampya and Thumbe containment zones

Mangaluru: District’s Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh on Monday, May 4 denotified two more containment zones.
Sampya village in Puttur taluk and Thumbe village in Bantwal taluk which were declared as containment zones on April 17 have now been declared safe.
No COVID-19 positive cases were reported from these two zones in the past 28 days and people who had come in contact with COVID-19 patients here too have completed home qurantine without any symptoms.
