Mangaluru: As the human population stays at home to stop the spread of coronavirus, wild animals have been spotted exploring the empty streets of some of the urban areas.

Animals are entering cities in a search for food, especially with humans being cooped up and no activity happening, wild animals are venturing out back into what was originally theirs.

On Tuesday, May 5 morning two Bisons were spotted wandering through their streets of Mangaluru one near Vishal Children’s and Maternity Hospital in West Kodialguthu and one near Bejai road.

A video of the same emerged online and it shows the large animal freely walking, while the few people watch the Bison with utmost amazement.

On May 1 a Cheetah spotted at MRPL premises in Surathkal and the incident was recorded on the CCTV footage.

After receiving the information the foreset department officials visited the spot and asked people to be careful. They have also a trap to catch the wild animal.

Meanwhile, the officials of the forest department saw the CCTV footage of the Cheetah wandering around and said the cheetah is about 7 to 8 years old.
